Lane Kiffin's daughter wears Texas colors as LSU looks ahead to the Longhorns
Landry Kiffin wore Texas gear for the Red River game and joked about scouting LSU's November opponent, as LSU gets ready to host Mississippi State.

Landry Kiffin, daughter of LSU head coach Lane Kiffin, set aside purple and gold during Week 6. She wore Texas Longhorns gear to the Longhorns' game against Oklahoma at the Cotton Bowl, EssentiallySports reported via Yahoo Sports.
She and her friend Jade wore matching outfits: a Longhorns hat, a white tank top and khaki pants. On TikTok she captioned the look "Imposter for the day," according to EssentiallySports. In another video she joked that she was there to scout the competition. That joke gets more pointed when you look at the schedule. Texas visits Tiger Stadium on November 14, and EssentiallySports noted that ESPN Analytics gives the Longhorns a 57.4% chance to win that game.
She also posted about the usual scramble on game day. She joked that she was running late with kickoff eight minutes away and the stadium still 30 minutes out.
She has ties to more than one program. She is a student at Ole Miss, which her father left for the LSU job. Before the LSU-Ole Miss game in September, she said she was hurt by inappropriate banners hung at fraternity houses in Oxford, though she also said she has loved her time at the school. She is also dating LSU linebacker Whit Weeks. The two went public in 2025, and on August 16 she posted a photo of them at Tiger Stadium. Nothing in the Texas outfit suggests she has changed sides. It was a light moment in a hard week for the Tigers.
LSU tries to regroup at home
LSU is 4-2 after a 35-34 overtime loss at Kentucky on October 10. The Wildcats tied the game with a late field goal, then won it when quarterback Kenny Minchey ran in a two-point conversion in overtime. Sam Leavitt threw for 275 yards for LSU, with two touchdowns and one interception.
The No. 22 Tigers have little time to move on. No. 16 Mississippi State (4-1) comes to Baton Rouge on Saturday at noon Eastern on ESPN. The Bulldogs are ranked six spots higher, but the market still makes LSU a clear favorite at home. LSU is favored at -441 on Novig, one of the venues pricing the game, and DraftKings has the Tigers at -470. The spread is LSU -12.5 and the total is 58.5. Full prices are on the Mississippi State at LSU odds page.
Texas plays its own noon game the same day. The seventh-ranked Longhorns (4-1) host Florida (4-2) on ABC. Texas is favored at -400 on Novig, and Hard Rock Bet matches that price. The spread is Texas -10.5 and the total is 52.5 (odds page).
If both favorites win Saturday, the November 14 game in Baton Rouge will carry real weight in the SEC race, and Landry Kiffin's scouting joke will have aged well.
