Oklahoma knocked off top-ranked Texas 27-24 on Saturday, but that wasn't enough to get the Sooners back into the US LBM Coaches Poll released Sunday.

The Oklahoman reported that Oklahoma got 50 points in this week's Coaches Poll. That put the Sooners fourth among teams receiving votes outside the Top 25, behind Northwestern (107), Arizona (92) and Nebraska (74). The AP Top 25 was due out later Sunday.

The Red River result reshuffled the top of the poll. Texas fell from No. 1 to No. 6 in the coaches' rankings. Georgia now sits first with 60 first-place votes, followed by Notre Dame, Miami, Indiana and Ohio State. Oklahoma moves to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in SEC play after starting the week at 3-2.

Other SEC teams are spread through the rankings. Alabama is No. 7, Ole Miss No. 10, Missouri No. 13, Tennessee No. 14, Kentucky No. 17, Mississippi State No. 19 and LSU No. 21. Florida, which had been No. 15, dropped out and got 32 points in the also-receiving-votes group.

Kentucky comes to Norman

The Sooners' next chance to impress voters is Saturday night. Kentucky visits Owen Field in Norman for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff on SEC Network. The Wildcats come in at No. 17 in the Coaches Poll, so a home win would give Oklahoma a second straight victory over a ranked opponent and a strong argument for a spot in the poll.

The market rates Oklahoma above the poll. The Sooners are favored at -208 on Novig, one of the venues pricing the game. FanDuel's -225 is the best sportsbook price on Oklahoma. The spread is Oklahoma -6.5 with a total of 43.5, the lowest total on this week's SEC board. Full prices are on the Kentucky at Oklahoma odds page.

Texas needs to respond quickly after losing to its rival. The Longhorns host Florida, the team that just fell out of the poll. Texas is favored at -365 on Novig and -9.5 on the spread, with a total of 53.5. FanDuel has the best sportsbook number on Texas at -350. Details are on the Florida at Texas page.

Two more ranked SEC teams play this weekend. No. 10 Ole Miss hosts No. 13 Missouri and is favored at -203 on Novig with a 6.5-point spread (Missouri at Ole Miss). In Knoxville, No. 14 Tennessee is the underdog against No. 7 Alabama. The Crimson Tide are favored at -245 on Novig, and Tennessee is getting 6.5 points (Alabama at Tennessee).

Elsewhere, Vanderbilt is favored at -212 on Novig at home against Arkansas, with a spread of 6.5 (Arkansas at Vanderbilt).

For Oklahoma, Saturday's upset turned around a season that looked to be slipping away. A win over a ranked Kentucky team would make it much harder for voters to leave the Sooners out again.
